Fitted with a 12V 50W 36 degree lamp.
Often used for feature lighting, up lighting and for building into scenery.
Supplied with a 12V power supply which is fitted with a 15A mains plug and 3 pin XLR 12V output socket. Note that despite being fitted with 3 pin XLR connectors you must not use microphone cable to extend the distance between power supply and birdie. Mic cable is likely to burn out due to the high current drawn by the birdie, and in any case light output will be reduced due to the voltage drop down the cable. If you need to extend the distance between power supply and birdie please use our XLR Speaker cables instead - see the related items below. Try to keep the mains cable run as long as possible and the 12V cable run as short as possible.
The birdie is supplied with a lightweight hook clamp and safety bond. The birdie rigging bracket (yoke) is pre drilled with a 5mm hole to allow fixing to scenery with a wood screw.
