Do you want to ensure your events temporary electrical system is safe? Do you need a Temporary Electrical Installation Completion Certificate so that you can demonstrate that its safe to the powers that be?
JS Stage can help. BS7909 is the Code of Practise for temporary electrical systems for entertainment and related purposes. It gives recommendations for the management, design, setting-up and operation of temporary electrical systems using 230V or 400V a.c. electricity. It applies to temporary systems indoors and outdoors, events very small to very large, powered from fixed building supplies, generators, battery inverters and solar sources. Compliance with it is increasingly becoming a requirement of local authorities, insurance companies, event organisers and clients.
JS Stage has engineers who, through successful completion of a City and Guilds assured training course, have demonstrated their competence to act as "Senior Person Responsible", and as such are able to guide you through what is required to ensure your event is electrically safe and complies with BS7909. Those engineers are able to issue a Completion Certificate for a Temporary Electrical System as proof of its compliance with BS7909.
